Paper Flower

It all started with one flower on a sunny afternoon and ended up filling a bucket by the evening. It easy to make these beauties and kind of addicting after making two or three. I made them last year using bright tissue papers.  

But these light colours look pretty too... at this point I thought may be this will look nice as a wreath for front door...

and it ended up like this....well not bad I guess.

A Bag out of Gunny Sack

Hello friends....well Valentine day is so near...I am almost done with miss sunshine Valentine exchange but still need to make a Valentine box for her so there will be lots of paper heart on my working desk tomorrow. I will be posting the cute gifts that I am working on tomorrow. For today, its another recycling project I finished last weekend.

I made this bag out of this gunny sack as you can see ....this is basically an experiment. I am trying to learn sewing, so I am using whatever I can find in my house...from old sheets to gunny sack... just to practice and get better at it.This one turned well...  I have some pictures to share...

I have used t-shirt yarn and felt to make this design and stick it with hot glue gun...

What can I say...waiting for spring!

Crochet Bangle

How about turning old accessories into new with little creativity....like this one. I am making crochet flowers these days and hot glued some on a chunky wooden bangle I had. I painted it first with blue acrylic paint and it goes well with the colors of my crochet flowers...

creating a nice look together....

 Here is the finished look...what do you say... thumbs up ?

Crochet Flowers

Hello dear all...hope you all are having good week so far. You see this crochet beauty ...I made it last night, I am planning to give these flower bookmarks as gift on Valentine day. I learned crochet last summer and still learning from you tube. There are some very good tutorial on You Tube ...here is the link for you if you are interested in making or learning. I am planning to make more flowers ...they will look good on any thing. Have a happy weekend to you...I guess I will be making more of these.....

Recycle Time

Hello Dear Friends....here is a quick recycling project I did today..it turned out nice so I thought why not share it. Yeah ...I love recycling things and this time it is gunny sack and an old basket, which is looking different and better now. I have used gunny sack in my other projects too.
