Bright colours and amazing patterns of dots and lines of Gond has tremendous appeal. Their bright array of colors and unique sense of depicting natural world influence me the most. Gond Painting of Madhya Pradesh is a folk art and like all other folk art forms, subject matter of these paintings are nature and life around. You can learn more about it here and here
Couple of days back I made my first gond inspired work. I need little more research and practice on their design and pattern works, so I can try it on a canvas. For now, I am happy with these little pieces that I made.
I painted on these cardboard boxes ...
Lovely artistic works.
